Hello Parents and Athletes

Registration for Quinte Legion Lynx Track and Field Club opens 01 December and closes 30 June the following year annually. If you are new to the club, use the contact us link to confirm coach availability for your athlete's event.

Registration fees are set each year and are subject to change due to operating cost and governing membership increases. As a club we try to provide the best experience for athletes at the lowest cost possible. No refunds once registration has been completed.

FOUNDATIONS (Recreational/U14)
​
Location: offered in Trenton, Belleville and Wellington.
Coaches: Fred (Belleville – running), Sue (Trenton-run, jump, throw), Bob (Wellington-run, jump throw)
Fee: $170 plus insurance fees through Athletics Ontario and taxes (e.g. U12 - $10, U14 $36.50) (includes t-shirt – any athlete competing will have to purchase a singlet as well).​​

Description: Athletes under the age of 14 who may or may not want to compete and athletes of any age who are new to athletics. Athletes will receive coaching in groups focused on run, jump and/or throw activities. U14 athletes interested in competing can enter Minor Track Association (athlete $20 MTA registration fee is part of the club $170 registration fee). Note: Athletes are responsible for meet entry fees. Athletes ready to enter AO meets will have to upgrade their club membership to Competitive.​

COMPETITIVE (U16/U18/U20)
​
Location: offered in Belleville.
Coaches: Todd (throws), Scott (jumps), Lee (pole vault), Fred (middle distance), Dave* (middle distance)
Fee: $300 plus taxes and Athletics Ontario fees – includes t-shirt and singlet
(NOTE: *extra coaching fees apply if training with Coach Dave separate from QL Lynx fees).
Description: Athletes in secondary school who wish compete provincially and nationally through the club system. Athletes will receive event specific training, technical focus and strategic advice. The focus of this training group is to prepare athletes to compete at the highest level and work towards meeting varsity standards for post secondary opportunities. Athletes will indicate their events at registration (e.g. high jump, discus, pole vault, multi-sport).
Note: Athletes are responsible for meet entry fees. ​
